More interesting architecture at the Venetian
We ate at the seafood buffet at the Rio. Cly ate close to his weight in sashimi.
The car port at the Bellagio
A crazy fountain of liquid chocolate at the Jean-Philippe Patisserie (in the Bellagio).
The Jean-Philippe Patisserie sells lots of really neat treats.
Cly tried a fruit tart.
While Cly was photographing his tart, Darcie started on her lemon pie.
We decided to tour the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art with paintings by Cézanne, Corot, Gauguin, van Gogh, Millet, Monet, and Renoir. No photos allowed inside and there were security folks everywhere so Cly was too chicken to break the rule.
The Conservatory at the Bellagio was breathtaking! It was decorated with a Thanksgiving theme.
A large barrel of apples on the north side of the Conservatory

Inside the Coke store at Showcase mall
Cly was tempted to visit this fine establishment after Dwayne gave glowing reviews but never had time
The Mirage - we walked by it several times but never went inside - maybe next time
We saw Legends in Concert at the Imperial Palace on our last evening in Vegas
Darcie actually ran into Leanne Ouellette, a family friend, who works at the Imperial Palace - it's a small world!
Posing with Elvis was a fitting end to our time in Las Vegas. This Elvis is Matt Lewis, the best Elvis we've seen and heard so far!
Evening view of the Bellagio with Caesar's Palace next to it
Dale Chihuly designed this glass ceiling which lets natural light through to the Bellagio reception area.
View from our room (#16026) of Paris Las Vegas

Bro-in-law Dwanye digs into chocolate pancakes at a local IHOP
Darcie and Cly do the Hoover dam tour.
Las Vegas temple - we went through the 10:30 session on Oct 4 - it looks big on the outside but it's actually smaller than the Cardston temple.
Darcie's sister Sherie (yes, she's pregnant with Dylan) and Dwayne
After visiting the temple, the "king of good ideas" Dwayne decided we should go to an authentic Mexican restaurant.
The food was great! Our waitress didn't speak any English and we didn't speak any Spanish but we managed to get by.
While Darcie was getting our tickets for Mama Mia!, Sherie put a dollar into a slot machine and won some cash! * Beginner's luck - she decided to cash out while she was ahead. * Photo may not be 100% accurate
We saw every M&M product available at the M&M store in Showcase mall.
Walking up and down the Vegas strip made us really tired.
Ferrari display in Caesar's Palace
Giant aquarium in Caesar's Palace.
The largest Hawaiian shirt in the world at the Alladin - 400XL. Cly would have to eat at many a buffet to fit in this thing.
Cly's long lost cousin.
Monte Carlo
Sherie and Dwayne stayed at the MGM Grand - the world's largest hotel.
Treasure Island - we saw Cirque du Soleil - Mystere here.
No photography was allowed during the show but Cly figured it would be okay to snap a quick photo of the Mystere snail while we were walking out.
Not an uncommon sight in Vegas!
The Venetian was Cly's favorite resort to explore.
Lots of pretty architecture at the Venetian
and some of Darcie's favorite stores
These candy apples at the Venetian were very large!
