Adventures in Waterton (and Montana)

We spent 8 days at the luxurious Galbraith cabin in Waterton, Alberta and saw the sights in and around the area. We put a total of 2131km on the CR-V for this roadtrip and visited Montana three times. Waterton is definitely one of Alberta's hidden treasures!

  • The cruise took us to Goat Haunt, Montana.  We didn't have to show passports since we didn't go very far from the dock.

  • On the way back on the cruise, we saw another bear.  The captain cut the engine and let us drift close to the shore.  This was our 11th (and final) bear sighting on the trip!
  • We arrived at the Galbraith cabin in Waterton at about midday; it had been raining that morning.
  • Julia was happy to arrive - 3 hours in a car seat can be rough!
  • The cabin was great!  Cly was surprised at how much heat the wood burning stove produced.
